Tax experts and consultants have pointed out that the Federal Board of Revenue's (FBR) IRIS software is causing problems in processing of income tax returns for tax year 2019. Tax experts told Business Recorder here on Wednesday that the IRIS software is causing problem in processing of income tax returns. They said they contacted PRAL at phone number 051-111772772 on Wednesday to remove the error.

It has been assured that the error will be removed soon, they added. They have requested the FBR to extend date for filing of income tax returns for Tax Year 2019 till at least 31-10-2019 subject to streamline the working of IRIS.
